The House

A picture of a house is included and students are asked to record the number of doors and windows.
There is also a table to complete asking for the shapes they see and how many they can see.

Two Views of a House

Exterior view of a house along with the floor plan of the second floor.
With teacher guidance, students could count the number of doors and windows on the second floor and also try to match the windows on the floor plan to the exterior view of the house.

Small versions of the photographs shown on the web page are arranged in a chart and students are asked to record words to explain what makes the buildings interesting.
